Weekend in LA

I had such fun speaking at Food Book Fair last weekend in LA. Public speaking is always a little terrifying, but then after it’s over I’m happy to have done it and to have (hopefully) gotten a bit better with practice. We loved staying at the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. It was an easy walk from there to Grand Central Market, where we went for dinner the night before the conference. Graham has been a fan of Tacos Tumbras a Tomas since he was a boy, and we shared one of their tortas, a couple of carne asada tacos, and also a falafel sandwich from Madcapra – all delicious! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: LA is one of the most exciting food cities in the world.
